Scope
This page covers the personal website at pavlossta.com, including the home page, photography, music, CV, now, uses, and other main-site pages. It does not cover the Tefteri app documentation pages, which have their own Privacy Policy and GDPR notice.
The site is operated by Pavlos Stathopoulos. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@pavlossta.com .
What This Site Collects
The main site does not have accounts, comments, checkout flows, or public contact forms. It does collect limited technical and analytics information so I can understand whether the site works well and which pages are useful.
- Page views, navigation clicks, outbound-link clicks, downloads, and selected page interactions.
- Page path, referrer, language, approximate device type, and event timing.
- UTM campaign fields when they are present in the page URL.
- Client-side error details when a browser error occurs, including sanitized messages and stack traces.
- Technical request data processed by hosting and infrastructure providers, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and request metadata.
- Contact details and message contents if you choose to email me.
The site does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data, payment information, or advertising profile data.
Analytics
The site uses privacy-conscious analytics for measurement and maintenance. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are loaded on pages to provide aggregated usage and performance information. The site also sends first-party analytics events to my own analytics endpoint at admin.pavlossta.com.
Custom analytics use browser session storage to keep a temporary session identifier and
UTM attribution for the current browsing session. The keys are
pavlossta_analytics_session_id and pavlossta_analytics_utm.
This is used for site measurement, not advertising, cross-site tracking, or selling
personal data.
Embeds And External Links
The music page can load YouTube videos through the youtube-nocookie.com embed domain. YouTube may receive information when you choose to play an embedded video. The site also links to external services such as GitHub, Spotify, YouTube, and other project or profile pages. Once you follow an external link, the destination service handles your data under its own privacy terms.
Why Data Is Used
- To understand broad site usage and improve public pages.
- To debug errors, reliability issues, and performance problems.
- To measure campaign or referral links when UTM parameters are present.
- To respond when you contact me directly.
- To keep the site secure and operate it through hosting infrastructure.
Where GDPR applies, the legal basis for site analytics, security, debugging, and improvement is legitimate interests. When you email me, the legal basis is your voluntary request and my legitimate interest in responding.
Sharing And Processors
I do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Limited data may be processed by service providers that help host, secure, measure, and operate the site, including Vercel and the infrastructure used for the first-party analytics backend. These providers may process data outside Greece or the European Economic Area under their own contractual and legal safeguards.
Retention
Custom analytics records are kept only as long as needed for site measurement, debugging, and trend analysis, normally no longer than 24 months. Hosting logs and Vercel analytics data follow the retention practices of the relevant provider. Emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable record of the conversation.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to data portability and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Greece, the competent authority is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
